Job Description
This role requires strong expertise in Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, along with solid experience in data engineering and tools such as Databricks and Collibra.
Work collaboratively with Actuarial, Data, and IT teams to design and maintain actuarial tooling and workflows.
Develop and optimize data pipelines and automation using tools like Databricks, Unify, and Collibra.
Integrate actuarial modeling software (e.g., Pathwise, Prophet) into cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure, adhering to security, compliance, and performance best practices.
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives through cloud-native tools and data engineering practices.
Provide support and technical guidance to actuarial users on tool functionality and troubleshooting.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies related to actuarial tech, cloud, and data management.
7 to 10 years of relevant working experience.
Strong proficiency in Azure and GCP for actuarial or analytical workloads.
Background in data engineering, workflow automation, and cloud-native development.
Hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing.
Proficient in Python, SQL, or similar scripting languages.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud security best practices.
