Job summary
A consulting firm in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, seeks a professional with extensive experience in manufacturing environments and MES system implementation. Responsibilities include creating MES Objects, system management, and developing Power BI dashboards. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Strong programming skills in SQL and C# are desirable, making this a strategic role for improving operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MES platforms will be advantageous.
- Understanding of programming languages desirable.
Responsibilities
- Create and update MES Objects.
- Facilitate site implementation of enterprise systems.
- Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards.
- Manage Global Labelling System (GLS) and support system configuration.

- Facilitates site implementation of enterprise systems by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentations.
- Defines and re-engineers manufacturing applications processes by using appropriate methods and tools and partnering with process owners to understand requirements.
- Creates training material and provide training for user assistance and system usage.
- Manages Global Labelling System (GLS) - system upgrade roll out, system configuration, installation and operation support.
- Improve application / system efficiency and makes recommendations for implementation of new systems or necessary upgrades that will best meet customer and organizational requirements.
- Participation in cross functional teams to articulate site requirements, coordinate site testing (user acceptance test, system simulation test) and documentation.
- May lead multiple projects simultaneously, working with internal and external cross functional groups.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize system data to provide actionable insights.
- Timely respond and resolve system issues reported by end users, issue escalation to global support team when necessary.
- Candidate required process at least Bachelor Degree in Information System / Computer Science or relevant.
- At least 8 years of working experience in Manufacturing environment with MES implementation and maintenance knowledge.
- Proficiency in MES platforms such as CAMStar will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in business analytics using power BI tool.
- Understanding of Programming languages such as SQL, C# will be desirable
- Visualization Skills using platform like Power BI
