What to expect:

• Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Write clean code and apply industry best practices.
• Review designs, code, unit test and technical documentation created by other engineers.
• Analyze problems, develop and propose solutions.
• Prepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and provide guidance to more junior squad members.
• Provide timing/scheduling estimates to product owner and propose corrective actions to timelines when necessary.
• Organize an efficient handover through high quality documentation and training.

What will make you successful?

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience in an (preferably) international setting.
• Familiarity or experience with data ingestion with big data technologies (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana and Kafka).
• Familiarity or experience with CICD development & deployment tools such as Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, and Docker.
• Exposure to Linux OS platforms.
• Experience in one of the programming languages (Java or Python) and have good understanding of OOP.
• Familiarity or experience with SOA technologies such as micro-services, REST, SOAP is a plus.
• Experience in NoSQL Databases.
• Working experience in API benchmarking with tools such as JMeter, Postman.
• Practical working experience in an Agile driven team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones.
