Application Engineer (Asia Pacific Regional Projects)

Seagull Cooling Technologies (Asia Pacific) Sdn Bhd is a growing force in the Cooling Tower Industry, delivering engineered solutions across diverse sectors throughout Asia Pacific and beyond. Our projects span Asia Pacific, backed by strong R&D and design capabilities.

We are looking for a dynamic Application Engineer to join our regional engineering team — a hands-on role bridging client needs with in-house design, ensuring the delivery of high-performance, sustainable cooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for projects across Asia Pacific and other international markets.
• Meet clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify technical requirements and ensure alignment on specifications.
• Conduct site assessments, thermal and mechanical calculations, and feasibility studies.
• Select appropriate equipment and components for customized cooling tower systems.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for clients and consultants.
• Collaborate with internal Design, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely engineering support.
• Provide technical input for tenders, proposals, and presentations.
• Support project execution by addressing technical requirements and coordinating with relevant departments.
• Draft and finalize engineering documentation for client submission.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 4–5 years’ experience with M&E contractors, consultants, or similar engineering fields preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, analytical, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written); Mandarin or other regional languages is an advantage.
• Willing to travel frequently and be based overseas when required.
