Job summary
A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HR professional. The role involves managing staff training, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws, assisting with payroll, and supporting recruitment activities. Candidates must have a degree in HR or related fields and at least 6 years of HR experience, preferably in banking or financial services. Strong communication skills and knowledge of payroll and employment laws are essential for success in this position.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of HR generalist experience required.
- Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of L&D administration, payroll, tax, and employment laws is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff training, schedules, and documentation.
- Maintain HR policies ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws.
- Assist with payroll for local and expatriate staff.
Skills

- Assist with payroll for local and expatriate staff, ensuring all statutory contributions are accurate.
- Support recruitment activities and ensure alignment with the bank's requirements
- Prepare HR reports for regulators.
- Improve HR processes and support special projects.
- a. Degree in HR, Business or related fields
- b. At least 6 year(s) of HR generalist experience
- c. Preferably from banking or financial services
- d. Sound knowledge of L&D administration, payroll, tax and employment laws
- e. Solid communication skills, high accuracy and the ability to manage multiple deadline without faltering
- f. Understanding of Japanese work culture is a plus
