A leading investment firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Assistant Manager to manage regulatory reporting and conduct research on funds. Responsibilities
  • To stay informed on the laws governing the unit trust industry.
  • To conduct research on new funds and distribution channels (both in the domestic and overseas markets).
  • To undertake regulatory reporting, preparation of prospectuses, product highlight sheets and fund related submissions according to the Securities Commission (SC) requirements.
  • To ensure timely preparation, registration and lodgement of funds’ prospectuses, deeds and product highlight sheets.
  • To review website postings and initiate updates on relevant sections with a view to compliance.
  • To provide fund information support to frontliners when required.
Requirements
  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in product development and regulatory reporting.
  • Candidate with less than 6 years of working experience may be considered for a more junior role.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the industry including SC and EPF guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure, multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous.
