HAPPY AND LOVELY KIDS THERAPY CENTRE PLT – Kampong Pasir Segambut

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Special Needs Education Teacher to join our team at the Happy and Lovely Kids Therapy Centre PLT in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering children with special educational needs to reach their full potential.

What you’ll be doing
  • Designing and delivering specialised educational programmes tailored to the individual needs of each student
  • Providing one‑on‑one and small group instruction to students with a range of developmental, physical, and cognitive disabilities
  • Collaborating with parents, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for students
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods and strategies accordingly
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Participating in team meetings, professional development activities, and other centre‑wide initiatives
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education and other relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs
  • Familiarity with different teaching methodologies and assistive technologies for special education
  • Problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
