The ideal candidate will manage physical and virtual servers, ensuring high performance and security. You must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support, preferably with knowledge in DB Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL. This is an office position that requires on-call availability.

POSITION SUMMARY

IT Server Storage specialist is a professional position with responsibilities to operate, manage, maintain and support operating systems for physical servers, virtualized environments, storage and backup in YAZAKI infrastructure landscape. This position has a key role in the communication and collaboration with the Application and Infrastructure areas to identify improvement areas and assure performance as well security of services hosted in server infrastructure are aligned with the established policies and SLAs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

• Virtual and Physical Windows Server Provisioning using Hyper‑V or VMware.
• Support and administration of Citrix environments
• Support and administration of virtual and physical Windows servers.
• Maintain and support the Print and File servers of the company.
• Serve as 2nd Level support for Incident Management process related to servers and Citrix.
• Serve as 2nd Level support for Incident Management Process for server related issues.
• Identify areas of improvement and innovation for IT services under your responsibility
• Follow the Change Management Process for any new implementations or changes to the server environment
• Participate on the Problem Analysis and contribute in the solution and preventive measures, for server and Citrix related problems.
• Participate on the Problem Analysis and contribute on the remediation and preventive measures, for Server related problems.
• Develop technical documentation and work instructions for the IT services under your responsibility
• Collaborate and provide training or knowledge transfer to other IT areas.
