We are looking to hire a Tax Analyst II in a Hybrid (60 / 40) capacity for our site in Mexico City. This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The Tax Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s tax-related responsibilities, including Federal and multi-state tax return compliance, FAS 109 quarterly and year-end financial analysis, and tax audits. This position assists with effective tax rate analysis, tax planning projects, and ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
Key responsibilities include preparing and filing accurate tax reports in line with current legislation, managing VAT refunds, provisional income tax payments, withholding tax for income and VAT, and handling tax payments related to foreign transactions. The Tax Analyst also provides guidance on VAT-related inquiries and supports the tax team on various projects. Additionally, the role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to monitor changes in tax laws, keeping both local and global teams informed of any potential compliance issues to meet governmental filing and internal deadlines effectively.
The Tax Analyst is responsible for multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, including income tax, VAT, withholding VAT and Income tax. The role involves assisting the compliance reporting requirements, maintaining tax reporting processes to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley and tax authorities’ compliance. Key tasks include preparing, calculating estimated tax payments, submitting payment requests, and completing tax filing. Additionally, the analyst will research, analyze, and document tax issues, providing recommendations and conclusions to support the organization’s tax strategy reviewed and approved by Accounting Manager, GBS Finance Director and Corporate Tax department.
