A leading technology solutions provider in Monterrey is seeking a Senior Technician for IT Site Services to ensure production continuity by addressing IT technical issues on the factory floor and providing support to users. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and a diploma from a community college. Knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and troubleshooting is essential.

Summary:

The Senior Technician, IT Site Services is primarily responsible for attending to all IT technical problems reported on the factory floor to sustain production continuity. The incumbent may also attend to the offices and other areas from time to time. Other responsibilities include installing and configuring PCs, maintaining and upgrading clients, applications & operating system.

Detailed Description:
  • Provides support on all IT technical problems on the factory floor production lines.
  • Completes computer setup, operating system, client software updates, security patching, and follows up on audit issues.
  • Provides daily support to end users and resolves eHelpdesk tickets.
  • Assists IT Solutions/Infrastructure Assistant or above on all functions.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Troubleshooting & problem resolving skills.
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS (server and client) and desktop operating environments.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Fundamental knowledge of infrastructure diagnostic tools and processes.
  • Fundamental knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes.
Physical Demands:

This position is performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse) are frequently required.

Typical Experience:

1 to 3 years in similar job roles.

Typical Education:

Two or Three Year Community College Diploma.
