Ivanti’s Privacy Office is expanding! We’re searching for a dedicated team member with the expertise to help mature and strengthen our privacy program controls.

Why this role matters

This role will be the Privacy Office SME for FedRAMP privacy requirements and will be working closely with our internal FedRAMP stakeholders including Engineering, IT, Security, Compliance, and Legal. In addition to their primary FedRAMP responsibilities, this role will continue to support Privacy Office initiatives such as privacy assessments and data subject requests.

What you’ll do:

As a subject‑matter expert, you will support, evaluate, and advise on all matters surrounding data protection/privacy. You will:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of systems, infrastructure, and processes to identify vulnerabilities and gaps in meeting compliance for privacy controls
  • Incumbent will be the FedRAMP subject matter expert for Privacy. Incumbent will collaborate with business stakeholders to manage the continuous monitoring (ConMon) program and developing audit artifacts with a focus on FedRAMP privacy controls.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring activities to assess the effectiveness of privacy controls and identify potential non‑compliance issues.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholder teams to document privacy compliance control implementations for technical, management, and operational requirements.
  • Partner with all key business areas to ensure data privacy risks are considered at the outset of new projects/initiatives through Privacy by Design principles.
  • Manage Data Subject Access Requests
  • Provide privacy training to internal departments
  • Conduct Privacy‑related assessments (e.g., PIAs, DPIAs, TIAs)
  • Maintain records of processing activities.
  • Create and maintain privacy processes, procedures, and documentation.

Responsibilities do not include data security, which is covered by the Office of the Vice President of Security.

What you will bring:
  • Experience in audit experience. FedRAMP experience preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role with great exposure to global Data Protection and Privacy laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR).
  • Experience in the technology sector preferred.
  • Able to use a range of communication and influencing techniques to successfully negotiate, collaborate, or effect change in relation to data protection and privacy matters with different stakeholders at all levels within the business (e.g. Operations, HR, IT, Security, Engineering, Legal).
  • Self‑starter, confident working in a distributed environment with the ability to work on one's own with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work and learn quickly in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Appetite for challenges and self‑development
  • Ability to work to regulatory deadlines sometimes under pressure, with exceptional time management, activity coordination, and prioritization skills
  • CIPP (US and GDPR preferred), CIPT, or other privacy or risk and compliance‑related certifications a plus (i.e. CISA).
  • Bachelor’s degree
