Senior Java Engineer
Are you a Senior Java Engineer with strong Linux and Networking skills and fluent English to collaborate with US-based teams? Join us in revolutionising the smart energy space with next-gen smart meters! We’re working on something big and we want you to be part of it!

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience
• Fluent in Java
• Strong background in Linux environments and networking protocols
• Good English communication skills (verbal & written) for collaborating with international teams and clients
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver high-quality code

Bonus Skills

• Hands-on experience working with edge computing or embedded systems
• Experience building scalable, reliable systems that run in resource-constrained environments
• Experience with containerized environments or sandboxed VMs
• Familiarity with utility-grade smart devices, IoT platforms, or metering technologies
• Security and performance tuning on embedded or smart edge devices
• Familiarity with App OS-like environments

What Youll Be Working On

• Youll be joining the team developing the software behind an IoT-enabled electric meter that is redefining energy monitoring and management.
• Designing and implementing applications that run inside the Revelo meters secure software container
• Using edge computing to process waveform data in real time
• Supporting a flexible app ecosystem that mimics mobile-style app updates for meters
• Working with micro arc detection, anomaly detection, and wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi, Wi-SUN)
• Building resilient, scalable solutions that empower utility companies across the US and beyond
