A leading medical device manufacturer is seeking a Senior Director Plant Manager in Ciudad Juarez, responsible for managing plant operations, maximizing quality and safety, ensuring team development, and adhering to compliance standards. This role requires 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, people management, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. You will collaborate closely with HR and manage union relationships. The position offers the potential for up to 25% travel and reports directly to the VP Supply Chain Operations.

Formación

  • 10+ Years of Manufacturing or Operations Experience.
  • 10+ years people management experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English).
  • Medical Device experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage resources to meet Quality, Safety Environmental, and Occupational Health requirements.
  • Provide development opportunities for plant staff.

As the Electrophysiology (EP) Senior Director Plant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a manufacturing network, maximizing quality, service, talent development and safety, occupational health, and environmental compliance.

In addition, you will be accountable to align all operations departments to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Directs plant operations through implementation of established policies and procedures.
  • Manages resources to ensure that plant personnel can meet Quality, Safety Environmental, and Occupational Health requirements.
  • Provide development opportunities for plant staff.
  • Partner with HR and ERLR managing the relationship with local Union.
  • Participate in the annual CBA negotiation.
  • Ensure skilled resources are hired and retained.
  • Responsible for ensuring that team and organization follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in technical field required.
  • Master's or MBA is preferred
  • 10+ Years of Manufacturing or Operations Experience
  • 10+ years people management experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • Medical Device experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance, cGMP's, Safety and Environmental requirements, facilities, maintenance, finance, and human resources planning and development.
  • Interacting effectively with business leaders at regional and corporate levels, maintain external alliances with government representatives, of other organizations and associations to comply with the needs, goals, and objectives of the business.
  • Up to 25% travel domestic & international

This position reports to the VP Supply Chain Operations, EP and must be based in or willing to relocate to El Paso, Texas or Juarez, Mexico.
