Levi’s is looking for a Data and Planning Operations analyst expert to support the LATAM MPIM team. The ideal candidate is a great storyteller and strong technical contributor who has experience solving business problems with data-driven tools.
Reporting & Analytics expert will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to provide actionable insights, drive strategic decisions, and enhance overall business performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, planning and supply operations, merchandising and global projects (ARC) team, to analyze complex datasets, create reports, and develop data models to support key business initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the design, development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analysis and dashboards.
Planning Operations: You will oversee the key milestones of planning operations like S&OP, Buy Review, Investment Review and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams, and drive the implementation of best practices to achieve business objectives.
About the Job
Data Analytics:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (internal and external) to uncover insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Perform trend analysis and scenario planning to support decision-making for planning and supply chain teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements by analyzing data trends and performance patterns.
- Collaborate with business units to translate data insights into actionable strategies that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Work closely with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership, through clear visualizations and reports.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve data processes.
Planning Operations:
- S&OP Process: Act as a key S&OP consolidation point from affiliate to LATAM level Open to Buy
- Support the MPIM lead and teams in producing monthly S&OP content and risk scenario planning for the cluster and affiliates.
- Develop and drive the Planning milestone calendar across the planning organization (C2C/GTM)
- Support, develop, and drive key GTM check-point meetings, such as Investment Review, schedule and participate in the cluster IR review process.
Project Management:
- Facilitate and drive new ways of working and process improvement work within MP&IM and cross-functional partners to drive simplification
- Participate in key regional / global project to capture clusters requirements and drive implementation of new tools, systems, ways of working.
Partnership
- Lead cross-functional collaboration (IM, MP, Merch, Supply) that promotes simplification and better decision-making efficiencies.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure communication and action are aligned between the teams.
- Collaborate with planning teams and IM to ensure information is accurate before publication.
- Support cross-cluster Planning Operations & Analytics team and provide back-up for cluster-related priorities.
About You
Education
- Bachelor's in Economics, Statistics, Data, Data Science and Engineering (Master’s is a plus) or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Spanish and English
Experience
- Experience working in an international environment with cross-country entities.
- Experience in a business analysis-related function (experience in fashion is a plus).
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- 3+ years of professional experience analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience working with big data such as sales, inventory management, and planning (retail knowledge is a plus).
- Ability to translate and present complex analysis in executive summaries. Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
- 3+ years of applied data visualization experience (Looker and PowerBI as main visualization tools).
- 3+ years of experience in extracting and manipulating large data sets from various relational databases using SQL (Google BigQuery, MS SQL, dbt).
- Experience with data integration tools such as Dataiku or Data Fusion is a plus.
- Coding skills in at least one statistical or programming language (R or Python preferred) to import, summarize, and analyze data.
