A leading technology company in Hermosillo is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive improvement initiatives and lead teams in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the Continuous Improvement field, a degree in Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering, and must be fluent in English. Key responsibilities include developing deployment plans, monitoring implementation progress, and engaging personnel in improvement activities. This role will play a crucial part in the plant's Lean transformation.

Formación

  • At least 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
  • High desirable certifications on: Six Sigma.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Continuous Improvement teams design and implement programs and projects to enhance products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They train teams, establish program performance metrics, and provide support for process excellence. This person will be responsible for leading, coordinating, implementing, and sharing knowledge of the 13 TEOA Lean Manufacturing tools in areas with the greatest improvement opportunities, eliminating waste and impacting key metrics. This role will act as a change agent in the plant’s Lean transformation, transferring the technical skills and confidence needed for the implementation of Continuous Improvement tools and other improvement tools available in the plant. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of Safety through proper adherence to 5S+1.

  • Develop deployment plans for Continuous Improvement tools in alignment with corporate strategic plans.
  • Identify and organize the resources required to execute the deployment plan.
  • Monitor the progress and achievements of the implementation of Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Lead and actively participate in the five phases of a Continuous Improvement project in the selected transformation area (Prepare, Diagnose, Design, Implement, and Sustain).
  • Motivate personnel in the area to engage in improvement by providing the necessary support and training.
  • Once the deployment of Continuous Improvement tools is completed, return the area to the process owner and provide sustainment support if needed.
  • Monitor and follow up on results, delivering periodic presentations to stakeholders and management.
Job Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the Continuous Improvement area.
  • Industrial, Mechatronics, or related Engineering degree.
  • Fluent English communication skills, is a must.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Kaizen events (Facilitator), is a must.
  • High desirable certifications on: Six Sigma.

Location: Hermosillo.

Travel: Less than 10%.
