Formación

  • This is a hybrid position based in Mexico City.
Position Description
  • As a Sr Cardiometabolism Therapeutic Area Lead, you will lead the medical affairs strategy for the cardiometabolic portfolio, including pipeline management and medical launch plans for new molecules.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Develop and implement KOL and scientific communication strategies as part of the obesity, diabetes, and MASH ambition.
  • Engage with KOLs through individual engagement plans, advisory boards, and communication.
  • Create and execute the Medical Annual Brand Plan for the cardiometabolic portfolio, ensuring compliance and quality assurance in accordance with local policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Provide medical guidance, education, and proactive support to marketing, sales, and market access / public affairs teams.
  • Plan and execute publication strategies and clinical activities.
  • Manage budgets for pre‑launch activities and cost centres related to Diabetes, Obesity, and MASH Medical Affairs.
Required Qualifications
  • A Medical Degree, with specialization in internal medicine, cardiology, or endocrinology would be preferred, as well as experience in clinical research.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Medical Affairs.
  • Must have experience in the cardio renal metabolic therapeutic area, as well as leading teams within it.
  • At least 4 years of strong leadership skills managing managers.
  • Strategic direction and being situationally hands‑on.
  • Operational excellence and attention to detail.
  • Fluent English.
