A leading technology company in Mexico City seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and execute test plans across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in quality assurance, proficiency in automation testing, and the ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams. Strong English communication skills are required.

Formación

Key Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all testing of an entire project across various platforms, including:

• Developing and executing test plans and test cases for multiple features of an application;
• Developing and maintaining testing strategies, including manual and automation testing;
• Ensuring comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results;
• Participating in design and specification reviews, and using this information to design test plans;
• Promoting QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices;
• Promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization;
• Interacting and collaborating with the other development groups at Amazon Music and other organizations within the Amazon group of companies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience;
• Experience in automation testing;
• Experience in manual testing;
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects;
• Proficient in both spoken and written English;
• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium;
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
