What will you be doing?

  • Partner with a blended on/offshore engineering team to fulfill agreed-upon projects, actively participating in scrums.
  • Drive proactive change control with customers and partners to ensure all work delivered is confirmed in advance and will be paid for as delivered.
  • Ensure achievable timelines, profitable custom projects, and quarterly targets for launching new ARR.
  • Analyze new client provisioning and custom work delivery for opportunities to improve quality, cost, speed, estimation accuracy, and time to estimate.
  • Partner with the sales team and occasionally with clients to define project scope and goals for custom work. For heavily custom projects, draft Statements of Work in collaboration with the CTO and sales team.
  • Innovate estimation and team communication processes.
  • Oversee the engineering support queue, prioritizing and resolving platform bugs according to priority/SLA.
  • Analyze engineering hours spent in support to inform the product roadmap and contract fees per customer.
  • Work with the CTO and Sales Director to ensure the team is appropriately resourced for current and future projects.
  • Verify and validate that customizations and software functionality meet customer specifications.
  • When needed, work with customers to help them understand the SDLC and realities of custom vs. core software.

  • Technical Requirements Translation: Translate client requirements and expectations into actionable technical specifications for the engineering teams.

  • Proven technical project management experience working with external clients, ideally in the technology sector.
  • Strong ability to scope, estimate, and manage complex custom projects in alignment with client objectives.
  • Proficiency in translating client needs and business goals into clear and actionable technical requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project/product management.
  • Experience in SaaS & B2B.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in commercial aspects, including scoping and pricing projects to meet client needs and budgetary constraints.

Leadership and Communication Skills Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders. Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to build consensus among diverse groups.
