A leading consulting firm in Monterrey is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support multiple technical infrastructure projects. The role involves planning and coordinating teams to ensure project execution aligns with established processes. Candidates should have at least 10 years in software development, with solid project management experience, preferably in banking. The position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to liaise with stakeholders effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

In Praxis we ´re looking for a Project Manager


Description :

The Technical Project Manager supports multiple strategic infrastructure technology projects.


The primary goal will be to assist in the planning and coordination of the teams to execute the projects following the change process established at our client (bank).


Locations :

Mexico (2-3 months will be in Mexico working remotely (time it takes to process your work visa)


Boston (later they would be moving to the USA)


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Partner with CIO office units and systems infrastructure team in the communication of required migrations in existing or new infrastructure

  • Set meeting agendas, document meeting minutes, and track / resolve action items including providing status to teams and leads

  • Work closely with the technical teams to ensure prerequisites and activities for the changes meets existing requirements

  • Perform project management tasks for all technology projects assigned

  • Identifying project risks and contingency plans, communicating project status to management and other stakeholders, and escalating issues to adjust project scope, resources or timelines

  • Other duties as assigned and specified by manager / director in line with area and company needs


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor' s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline

  • 5 to 10 years Project Management experience

  • Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external clients in a clear, focused and concise manner

  • Solid planning, organization, and project management skills to communicate well and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while managing time effectively

  • Take responsibility for meeting challenging deadlines, which will require flexibility in hours from time to time

  • Solid customer service skills

  • Have a positive \"can do\" attitude and be willing to do whatever it takes to meet the goals


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE


  • Analytical skills : ability to analyze large set of data in Excel

  • Experience in a Financial Services firm is a plus

We're looking for a IT Senior Project Manager (with CIB knowledge)


Requirements :


  • 10+ Years experience in software development and implementation projects, working the way up to project management, developed preferably in, but not limited to, the banking sector.

  • University graduate, preferably from a technical background (but not limited), for example : computer science, engineering, physics.


Specialized Knowledge :


  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and IT functions

  • Knowledge of functional and technical architecture

  • Basic knowledge of operational risk management, data management and information security management

  • Knowledge of banking, specifically CIB and preferably Global Debt Financing products and Credit Risk Management : ability to understand requirements from business stakeholders, ask questions to extract the desired functionality.

  • MS Office practitioner, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Excellent coordination skills : self-starter, proactive attitude towards tracking and reporting project activities.


FUNCTIONS :


  • Own execution of IT Project Management Deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)


Salary : From $50, per month
