Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and motivate cross-functional project teams to deliver high-impact solutions for airline clients
- Manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, complex environments
- Act as a key interface between clients, Product Owners, and Project Directors
- Travel frequently within EMEA to engage directly with customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum frameworks
- Solid business and technical background, with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, development teams, and clients
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- PMP or equivalent Project Management certification

USI is actively looking for a talented Project Manager to join our leadership team.
This ideal candidate will serve as the focal point for all communication with assigned customers regrading schedules, quotations, and engineering issues. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues. As well as monitor the profitability for all assigned customer programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates the start-up of new programs, product implementation plan and schedule. Monitors loading of BOMs, standards, and orders into the ERP system.
- Acts as the customer liaison to communicate and help resolve all issues and avoid escalation and complaints.
- Maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Responsible for driving and monitoring the revenue, account management, profitability of programs, inventory levels, and on-time shipment.
- Interfaces with CFT team to ensure manufacturing, material requirements, and associates costs are met as required by contract.
- Provide customers with status updates.
- Interfaces with production control to monitor the release of all manufacturing kits.
- Coordinates the cut-in of all engineering changes, determines the cost impact and the informs the customer.
- Ensure proper resolution of customer-related accounting issues.
- Works with purchasing for material cost and with manufacturing engineering for labor.
- Coordinates quoting activities, pricing review, and problem resolution business issue resolution (RMA, PPV, A/R. and E&O material) for assigned customers.
- Shall have the responsibilities and authority to ensure customer requirements are met.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or level of knowledge that would be normally obtained of a bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years’ experience in similar positions (same sector/industry preferred)
- Experience working with CFT of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and finance to drive towards results.

Job Summary
Ensure the correct launch of a new project in production by supervising the following key aspects:
- Execute, together with the project team, the manufacturing of pre-series and series samples from G1 to G7.
- Manage the development and planning of infrastructure and operational capacity (personnel, equipment, space, etc.) in parallel with product and process development.
- Organize the development of a logistics concept.
- Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes.
- Organize the transition of the new project into production.
Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Accountability for meeting the overall project deliverables (cost, timing, quality, customer satisfaction).
- Lead the Project Core Team (PCT).
- Develop the project schedule based on the dates established and agreed upon with the customer.
- Monitor the development of the production system and tooling, maintaining continuous communication with the various project support areas.
- Adhere to the approved budget and quote cost-effective solutions.
- Consolidate information and ensure compliance and progress within the internal gate review system, from G1 to G7.
- Safeguard project information in the corresponding folders, in accordance with the quality management system and the specific documentation required by the customer.
- Hold regular and frequent meetings with the PCT according to program needs. Schedule and coordinate Gate reviews. Coordinate and manage the inputs and outputs of the multifunctional teams.
- Continuously identify risks and issues, and if necessary, execute the escalation process to obtain the required support from management.
- Interact with the customer regarding requests for changes/modifications and drawing deviations during the project development phase.
- Attend internal and external project audits, calling upon the necessary team members depending on the type and scope of the audit.
- Participate in engineering activities and meetings to support continuous improvement of the department and processes.
Education
- Field of study: Engineering or Business

- Preferred additional courses: PMP or a formal project management course, MBA, VDA 6.3
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in similar roles
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Experience managing teams, projects, and budgets

- Specific process knowledge: Progressive metal stamping, plastic injection
