Program Director – Architecture and bachelor’s in architecture

What will you do?

In this position, you will play a strategic role in ensuring the sustained growth of the School of Architecture, Art, and Design on the Querétaro campus, particularly in the architecture and bachelor's in architecture programs. You will promote initiatives that strengthen its positioning and ensure the continuous improvement of academic quality in the architecture programs. You will lead academic experiences that strengthen the graduate profile, monitoring, managing, and promoting the adequate development of student skills, ensuring an educational experience of excellence aligned with the highest institutional standards.

Your main challenges will be:

• Advise students on choosing a program, structure, specializations (Concentraciones), and planning/enrolling in their academic career.
• Ensure the proper integration, enrollment, and academic monitoring of students in the two architecture programs, promoting self-management.
• Design and promote meaningful academic experiences that generate value for the students under your supervision.
• Strengthening ties with related professional associations through active participation, strategic alliances, and formal agreements that impact student training.
• Manage information and coordination with directors and departments for academic and group planning.
• Promote and follow up on internationalization experiences, distinctions, competitions, and academic events.
• Address academic concerns of students and parents, as well as manage processes with accrediting agencies.
• Manage actions to monitor and improve the academic experience of students.
• Contribute to the goals established for student attraction and retention, focusing on the sustainable growth of the architecture and bachelor's in architecture programs.
• Collaborate closely with the areas involved in the processes of student attraction, monitoring, and retention.
• Comply with the standards of academic excellence defined for Tecnológico de Monterrey faculty.

What are we looking for?

• You have a master's degree in Architecture.
• You have at least two years of experience as a teacher and/or in academic leadership roles focused on student support and guidance.
• You have experience abroad and an advanced level of English (600 TOEFL points).
• You have skills in academic leadership, group management, and service orientation.
• You are someone who promotes academic excellence, inspires students, and fosters a transformative educational experience.
