Who We Are
Pickles Group is a growing national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2021. Our mission is to provide free peer-to-peer support and resources to kids facing a parent or caregiver’s cancer. We’ve doubled our impact every year since we launched, supporting 4,916 families and distributing 66,250 Family Cancer Support Kits across all 50 states and 13 countries to date.
Our team is caring, collaborative, and focused on making a big impact. We support each other and believe that the culture we’re building within our organization is as important as the work we do. We believe that every family navigating a parent or caregiver’s cancer deserves access to support and resources that help them heal and thrive. You can learn more about what that commitment means here.
We are hiring our first-ever Program Coordinator to ensure our programs run smoothly, consistently, and with care. This role exists so families, volunteers, and partners can focus on connection and support, while operations, logistics, and systems are handled effectively and reliably behind the scenes. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys building order out of complexity, creating systems others can rely on, and taking pride in strong operational execution.

How and When You’ll Do It
Be a team player: We are a small team that is continually growing and evolving. To succeed in this role, you must be responsive to emails, texts, and calls. You will need to work frequent evenings and weekends, the times that often work best for our families and supporters for events and programs, with opportunities to take other weekdays off. (Our programs take place on half of the Sundays of the year; you would work with us to identify another day of the week to take off accordingly.)
