A manufacturing company in Monterrey is looking for an Operations Coordinator to manage manufacturing processes and lead a production team. The successful candidate will ensure production targets are met while adhering to safety and environmental standards. A degree in Industrial Engineering and experience in production or quality management are required. The role involves problem-solving and continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment.

Formación

  • Two years of experience in production, maintenance, manufacturing, quality, or lean manufacturing.
  • Ability to coordinate a team and manage production processes.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental management systems.

Directly coordinate manufacturing operations, coordinating your work team, controlling the final production result, and supervising the staff under your charge.

ISO 14001 Responsible for applying environmental procedures.

Has full authority to stop the manufacturing process if the product safety and quality system is affected, as well as to sanction and enforce the requirements of SAA (Environmental Management System), IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.

  • Meet daily production targets.
  • Verify attendance of operational staff.
  • Check the start-up of line equipment.
  • Confirm that all staff are present for the various operations and that there are no shortages of materials.
  • Authorize permits for medical services.
  • Verify Inventory of materials for production program.
  • Supply tools and check production.
  • Provide Equipment and tools to operators.
  • Verify That equipment is functioning as specified.
  • Ensure Compliance with applicable safety and environmental systems.
  • Coordinate Production meeting, changes to production sheets.
  • Review and analyze Reports on production rejects.
  • Prepare Production and general area reports.
  • Assist In the analysis of waste (SCRAP) and downtime per week.
  • Verify That your staff carries out environmental procedures, evaluate and generate strategies for the organization through the DOS Audit vision.
  • Disseminate, coordinate, and facilitate the creation of high-performance teams through the Mejora DOS program.
  • Actively participate in Operations, Diamante, Communication, and Continuous Improvement team meetings.
  • Communicate with operators on special occasions or when production does not meet desired standards.
  • Coordinate the filling out of production board information.

Education: Industrial/Professional Engineering, preferably with two years of experience in any of the following areas: Production, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Lean Manufacturing.
