A global electronics manufacturer is seeking a Product Engineer in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. The successful candidate will design and develop products, ensuring compliance with specifications, and participate in engineering change management. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 2 years of experience are required. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential, in addition to a good command of English.

Reporting directly to the Manager I, R&D Engineering, you as a Product Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating product options while making complex engineering recommendations to meet requirements. You will ensure that results comply with design specifications and will perform technical design tasks as needed.
You will also be authorized to make modifications to current designs to improve performance, work on cost-reduction initiatives, and initiate projects with certification agencies for approval of engineering changes.
You will participate in engineering change management, create and update designs, collaborate with internal teams, and support problem-solving activities using structured methodologies. In addition, you will clarify technical requirements for internal and external customers and support prototype management, validation, and documentation updates.
