Planner Scheduler

Plans, schedules and prioritizes the resources to execute Customer Projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • For ETO plant & solutions activities, runs the manufacturing production scheduling.
  • In charge of the right load balance and the synchronization of product families and different load centers with finite capacity.
  • Ensures the update of key parameters of supply and stock management.
Main Activities
  • Puts the milestones of the order as late as possible, according to customer needs; schedules the different tasks from order entry until shipping, for each project; considers the firm orders and, exceptionally, those significant orders which require some capacity to be reserved.
  • Balances global workload weekly and allows some changes during the week for order release.
  • Applies LTO as defined by Offer Manager and highlights SCM and tendering if any deviations.
  • Uses the families defined by Manufacturing Engineering Department in each sector, which allow assigning a reliable workload to each load center (capacity management).
  • Acts as a key role in Flow Continuous Improvement Management.
  • Supervises for the plant the production order / Lead Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
  • Participates in SIM planning and completes the load/capacity Excel sheet.
  • Schedules in detail the different tasks of the manufacturing line, assigns the load centers (including bottlenecks) to the different tasks, and participates in the Kick‑Off meeting.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience in SC Planning environment.
  • Strong experience in Inventory & supply planning.
Skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Kinaxis / One MM / SAP / SSP / OPM.
