Position Summary:

As an Operations Controller within our Global Operations (COO) function, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, helping steer financial performance across 50+ business units and 17,000+ employees worldwide. You’ll be part of the Performance & Productivity Team, a key driver of financial health, operational efficiency, and strategic insight across all Lines of Business (LoBs).

This is more than a numbers role — it’s a chance to influence global operations, collaborate across departments, and contribute to the transformation of one of the world’s leading insurance and assistance providers.

What You’ll Do:
  • Monitor and optimize operational costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and strategic goals.
  • Analyze performance trends and uncover actionable insights.
  • Support planning dialogues and contribute to high‑impact forecasting and reporting.
  • Drive automation in data collection and reporting, integrating seamlessly with Finance.
  • Advise on financial strategy, including business case development and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and support financial plans and budgets aligned with global targets.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with Group policies.
  • Deliver clear, timely, and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies and support cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, contributing to long‑term stability.
  • Champion process excellence, driving improvements in financial systems and procedures.
  • Communicate insights effectively to non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Support external audits and ensure accurate representation of operational data.
  • Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and similar technologies can enhance productivity and support innovative problem‑solving in daily tasks.
What You Bring:

  • Experience in Finance, Operations, IT, audit, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
  • Passion for data, technology, and analytics — and turning insights into action.
  • Strong skills in Excel (incl. VBA), PowerPoint, and BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, SAP BO, SQL).
  • Programming knowledge (e.g., Python) and a technical affinity with databases and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
