Formación

  • 3+ years mechanical design knowledge & debugging.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read, understand, and create mechanical and electrical diagrams.

Your Role:
  • Develop integration concepts for robots with grippers and molding machines.
  • Develop: design, 2D drawings, BOM, quoting, purchased, build and debug robust solutions (integration gripper with robot, molding tool, prep terminals and tester) for manufacturing complying with Aptiv’s and Customer specific Tool Std’s
  • Perform estimation activities related to molding automation.
  • Collaborate early in product development with molding tool engineers to define terminal handling, placement into the molding tool, and removal/release of molded parts onto the tester machine.
  • Participate in product and tool design reviews, DFM, estimating process, ADP projects and Global Tool Standard activities
  • Meet key project milestones while maintaining throughput and quality targets.
  • Execute plans with focus and energy to exceed expectations and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements
  • Manage and update mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Support plant with mechanical designs for mold production areas (robots and picker)
  • Troubleshooting manufacturing areas with legacy equipment
Your Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years mechanical design knowledge & debugging.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and create mechanical and electrical diagrams and drawings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in UG NX, or other CAD software (Solid Works, Pro-E, etc.)
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Mexico and the U.S. as needed to provide support.
  • English Conversation is necessary
  • Experience working with multiple departments to release manufacturing cells.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines for internal and customer usage.
  • Advanced proficiency with NX and in-depth understanding of GD&T
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team.
Your Preferred Background:
  • Experience with plastics processing or plastic injection mold.
  • Basic-level knowledge of robot operation and programming.
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.
  • Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.
