Una empresa farmacéutica global busca un Manager de Data Science en Xico, Veracruz. El candidato ideal será responsable de medir y optimizar las inversiones en medios a través de la analítica y la colaboración con equipos multifuncionales. Se requiere experiencia en ciencia de datos, dominio en Python y R, y habilidades de comunicación efectivas. El modelo de trabajo es híbrido, con presencia en el sitio 2 a 3 veces por semana.

Formación

  • 3-5 años de experiencia como científico de datos y líder de proyectos.
  • Dominio del inglés, tanto escrito como verbal.
  • Conocimientos avanzados en R, Python, Excel y herramientas de análisis.

Responsabilidades

  • Medir y optimizar las inversiones en medios de Pfizer.
  • Desarrollar soluciones de medición de impacto.

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Manager, Data Science, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders in the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) organization and other organizations within Pfizer and help drive data‑driven decision‑making across the marketing organization. You will be responsible for developing new capabilities including enhancing our marketing measurement and optimization frameworks and delivering actionable insights that inform and optimize marketing efforts.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help measure and drive optimization of Pfizer's media investments via both technology and process enhancements
  • Develop impact measurement experimentation solutions (A/B testing, ANCOVA, Econometrics models, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to align marketing analytics capabilities with broader business objectives, fostering collaboration and effective decision‑making
  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain reusable assets and custom pipelines to optimize operational efficiencies in analytics execution
  • Be a hands‑on teammate who knows how to code in Python/R/SQL and able to communicate the results to the business stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS plus 3-5 years of work experience as a data scientist and project lead for a diverse range of projects
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) majors with quantitative emphasis such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Advanced proficiency in R, Python, Excel and analytics platforms
  • Good communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and concise insights for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative and results‑oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with marketing attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: machine learning, Bayesian statistics, knowledge of pharma datasets such as IQVIA
  • Background in optimization, mathematical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data structures

Work Location Assignment: Mexico City (Hybrid work model, which requires presence on site 2 to 3 times per week or as necessary for business operations)
