Main Duties & Responsibilities

The Logistics Analyst position coordinate and oversee the company's import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, managing the required documentation, optimizing logistics costs, and securing timely deliveries to maintain a continuous supply chain flow.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage various import and export procedures, ensuring compliance with both Mexican and foreign regulations, and coordinating logistics operations.
  • Coordinate import and export operations by assisting the client in the supply chain between carriers and both Mexican and foreign customs agencies, including managing documentation for customs clearance.
  • Carry out the necessary controls for the administration of fixed assets under the temporary importation regime, as well as labeling and preventive audits of these assets.
  • Identify and prevent any risks that may arise during the import/export process in order to avoid losses or damages that could impact plant production.
  • Execute the financial strategy for imports and exports.
  • Coordinate the process of virtual imports/exports to carry out product sterilization.
  • Communicate with international clients and suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications

Job Requirements

Education: Degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, International Business, International Trade Relations, or International Trade and Business.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in similar positions within the manufacturing industry.

Languages: Advanced English.
