A leading automotive company in Apodaca is looking for a LAM Coordinator to lead and manage production resources. Your role will include implementing Lean Manufacturing tools, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards across all processes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4-5 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer. Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced conversational English are required.

LAM Coordinator

Position Objective: Lead and manage departmental resources to ensure the implementation, development, and sustainable maintenance of our production processes. Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing tools, project execution, and process enhancements. Guarantee safety, efficiency, and quality in all processes, contributing to organizational goals and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with departmental KPIs.
  • Manage and monitor assigned projects.
  • Design, update, and optimize the plant layout.
  • Review expenses and support annual budget planning.
  • Implement cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation.
  • Ensure processes meet standards for quality, safety, ergonomics, cost, and delivery times.
  • Evaluate and manage plant capacity (production volume).
  • Analyze and ensure process capacity.
  • Provide support for process changes and the integration of new accessories or tools.
  • Lead the implementation of new machinery (welding equipment, presses, etc.).
  • Analyze and select the appropriate machinery for each process.
  • Manage the complete procurement process for machinery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechanical Administrator Engineering, Mechanical Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer.
  • 4 years of experience as a Process Engineer.
  • Experience leading personnel.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience managing budgets and conducting ROI analysis.
  • Advanced conversational English.
