A packaging manufacturing company located in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking a Full-Time Plastic Injection Technician. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, experience as an industrial maintenance technician, and strong troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities include maintaining production equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring production quality. Bilingual candidates are preferred. This role may require travel to Canada and the USA for training.

Formación

• Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ISO safety standards and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
• Installing new production equipment.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors and conveyors.
• Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
• Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
• Installing new production equipment.
• Perform production changeovers on machinery and equipment as per customer demand and ensure production quality meets all technical requirements on time.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyors, transmission, and production-related equipment.
• Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
• Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
• Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
• Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) and other languages will be an asset.
• In-depth mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ISO safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer and report writing skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
• Good time-management skills.
• Availability to travel the first six months of employment to Canada, Quebec & USA for training
• US Visa Holder (B1/B2)
