What You’ll Do:
  • Architect scalable Jira environments that reflect business needs through optimized projects, service desks, workflows, and SLA models
  • Design and maintain advanced workflows, validators, post-functions, and global automation rules to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
  • Integrate Jira with external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, triggers, and ScriptRunner automation
  • Build intuitive dashboards, boards, and advanced JQL queries that surface insights on throughput, cycle time, and SLA performance
  • Manage Jira Assets / Insight schemas and automate lifecycle events to maintain accurate, end-to-end traceability
  • Mentor power users and admins by developing practical documentation and delivering knowledge-sharing sessions to promote platform-wide best practices
  • Monitor logs, caches, indexes, and usage trends to identify performance issues early and drive platform reliability and uptime
  • Guide governance standards across permissions, compliance, and data retention policies that support secure, collaborative usage
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience administering Jira Data Center in a large-scale or enterprise setting
  • Deep expertise in Jira Query Language (JQL), dashboard creation, and advanced reporting
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Advanced Roadmaps for Jira
  • Active Atlassian Certified Professional credential (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-600) or equivalent proven proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Confluence Data Center administration or integration
  • Scripting experience using Groovy (ScriptRunner)
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL frameworks
  • Experience contributing to change management or continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Exposure to cloud-to-data center migrations or hybrid Atlassian environments
