Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Inside Sales Executive to support the Sales Team. This position provides essential support to the Sales Team by managing customer communications, preparing accurate quotations, tracking opportunities, and ensuring timely conversion of New Business Opportunities (NBOs) into Purchase Orders (POs).

The role is responsible for monitoring billables, backlog performance, and assisting in developing strategies to achieve sales targets. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth sales operations, improving customer experience, and contributing to overall revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support & Customer Management
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales quotations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, RFQs, follow-ups, and updates on order status.
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with assigned customers.
  • Keep organized and updated records of customer interactions, quotations, and follow-ups.
2. Opportunity, Pipeline & Target Tracking
  • Monitor New Business Opportunities (NBOs) and support conversion to Purchase Orders.
  • Track billables, bookings, backlog versus targets; raise concerns early when gaps appear.
  • Assist the Sales Team in planning action steps and recovery strategies to achieve targets.
  • Update CRM or internal systems with quotation status, NBO progress, and order timelines.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales pipeline reports and track lost orders to identify improvements.
3. Internal Coordination & Operational Alignment
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineers, Product Managers, and Operations for pricing, stock availability, lead times, and delivery updates.
  • Provide regular status updates to Sales and internal teams.
  • Support Sales Engineers during customer visits or technical coordination when needed.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management to support efficient sales operations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, or Customer Service is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of AI tools is an advantage.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
