Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Full Stack Web Developer into the Customer Experience team in our Mexico City office. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual contributor that is excited about joining the growing Customer Experience team and are excited to learn more about digital marketing at an award winning agency.

Summary and Scope

We’re looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to help us build out technology-agnostic, custom solutions for our clients. We operate as a cross-functional team that specializes when needed but aims to have everyone able to contribute to any layer of a client solution including Front End Development, Back End Development, Data layers, APIs, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate heavily with fellow developers, designers, and analysts to solve problems related to the implementation of the solution
• Build web templates and components using HTML/CSS and Javascript
• Integrate UI interactions with RESTful APIs
• Develop back-end services and API endpoints
• Follow coding standards
• Debug cross-browser compatibility issues

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills required
• 3+ years experience building web applications or web sites
• Involvement building web pages/templates with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
• Experience with at least one Back End Language ( PHP, WordPress)
• Experience with at least one Javascript Framework (jQuery, Angular, React, Vue.js)
• High aptitude to learn new things and sense of urgency to get things done
• Proactive self-starter that is able to accomplish goals with little to no guidance
• Exceptional communication and collaboration within and across multiple teams

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Object Oriented Programming Principles
• Experience working with database technologies (MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Blob Storage)
• Experience with Content Management System systems from both a development and administration perspective (Sitecore, AEM, Kentico, WordPress, Drupal etc.)
• Test-driven development and Agile experience highly desired
