Position Overview
SVLG is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trusted Executive Assistant to support our CEO and the broader Office of the CEO. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, this role is crucial in helping the CEO stay focused on the right priorities by managing time, communications, and logistics with care, discretion, and good judgment.
In addition to supporting the CEO, this role will help with scheduling for members of the senior leadership team, draft and manage executive communications, coordinate events and meetings, and support day-to-day office and operational needs. You’ll be a key partner to the Chief of Staff to the CEO and a steady presence in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support and Calendar Management
- Manage the CEO’s complex calendar, including scheduling external and internal meetings, board-related engagements, travel coordination, and priority setting
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively recommend solutions that align with organizational priorities
- Provide scheduling support for senior leadership team members as priorities require
Executive Communications and Correspondence
- Support executive correspondence, including drafting, editing, and managing written communications on behalf of the CEO in coordination with the Chief of Staff, SVP, Strategy & External Affairs, and other senior leadership
- Ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with SVLG’s voice, brand, and strategic priorities
- Coordinate communications and scheduling with external and internal stakeholders engaging with the Office of the CEO, including elected officials, Fortune 500 CEOs, and other senior business executives
Event and Meeting Support
- Provide significant logistical and administrative support for SVLG events, convenings, and executive-level meetings
- Assist with the preparation of materials for board meetings, leadership meetings, and high-level external engagements
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of events and meetings
Office Management and Operations
- Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure effective execution, escalation, and prioritization within the Office of the CEO
- Support regular office management needs, including coordination with vendors, facilities, and shared services
- Help maintain organized systems for files, contacts, and executive records
- Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of proven experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
- Experience supporting executives who regularly engage with Fortune 500 CEOs, elected officials, or equivalent stakeholders
- Preferred experience working directly for a senior executive at a Silicon Valley technology company
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and discretion
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Collaborative mindset and demonstrated ability to serve as a values ambassador within an organization
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.)
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools is a must; knowledge of Salesforce, or other CRM systems is preferred, but not required

Location
This is an in-person role based in San Jose due to the highly collaborative nature of the Office of the CEO and the need for real-time coordination with executive leadership. This position does not require travel.
