A leading filtration technology firm in Monterrey is seeking a Quality Engineer II to support quality audits and assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, especially in metal fabrication and knowledge of ISO 9001. Responsibilities include managing audits, conducting root cause analysis, and promoting quality culture. This position offers an opportunity to make meaningful contributions in evolving quality practices.

Formación

• 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in metal fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Problem solving training (8D, DMAIC, PDCA, A3) required.

Donaldson is hiring a Quality Engineer II to join our this role you will support the Quality process audits and assurance quality control on process lines to guarantee our customer requirements.

Role Responsibilities

• Activities on SCRAP and Rework control defective rate 8D and root cause analysis on lines on charge.
• Lead ka improvement ideas focused on productivity and cost reduction.
• Coordinate maintain and improve the quality management system (customer-oriented support and management process).
• Coordinate internal external and customer audits and lead the closure of non-conformities.
• Promote quality culture based on applicable international standards (ISO 9001).
• Coordinate document control.
• Lead root cause analysis and action plan to respond nonconformities for ISO 9001.
• Perform audits including closing findings creating results reports and determining appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate incoming inspection area.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in metal fabrication processes
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Knowlede in quality management system
• Core Tools knowledge.
• Strong computer skills-Microsoft Office
• Advanced English.
• Problem solving training (8D DMAIC PDCA A3)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified ISO 9001.
• Lead auditor (desired)
• Experience on metrology (GD&T Metrology training).
• LEAN / Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience in metal fabrication.
• SSPC NACE Coating inspector certification or experience
• Welding process CAWI WIS-WIA Level II Certification or experience
