About the Role

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the country's marketing team. Leads marketing budgets. Ensures country cross‑functional team is building a strong foundation for the brand to increase brand awareness, brand love, and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop short‑ and long‑term integrated marketing and media plans for the market. Provide vision and guidance on agency selection, menu architecture pricing strategy and product development. Lead implementation of marketing related Global Strategy Plan strategies. Review market research efforts and secondary resources to gain market insights. Achieve buy‑in with senior global management team on country specific strategies.
  • Support implementations of global efforts that shape the future of the brand through strategic innovation pipeline product packaging promotion. Work with supply chain (IPC, R&D, etc.) to drive localized innovation.
  • Ensure communication across cross‑functional teams, country stakeholders and key HQ teams including Marketing, R&D, Legal, PR. Help prepare training presentations and guidance as needed.
  • Manage the budget and resources for one of Subway's top 10 country units to achieve the strategic plan goals.
  • Play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with franchisees. This includes regular communication, collaboration, and strategic alignment to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives across all locations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive role within multinational or franchise‑driven organizations.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies for large‑scale markets, ideally within Mexico or Latin America.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, with experience influencing senior leadership and driving consensus across complex, global environments.
  • Strong background in agency management, pricing strategy, and product development, with demonstrated ability to adapt global strategies to local market needs.
  • Advanced analytical and commercial acumen, leveraging market research and data insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize performance.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing significant marketing budgets to deliver measurable growth and ROI.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and omnichannel marketing strategies in competitive consumer markets.
