Formación

Data Services Group Analyst

Maintenance of key reference data team within the Clearing Operations team. The role encompasses both Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) and Over the Counter (OTC) products. The DSG provides a range of data‑management services to a wide‑ranging group of internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, DSG provides system access and configuration for several bespoke clearing systems (Futures Direct and DCS client portals).

An extensive skill set encompassing product, systems knowledge and operational risk experience is required. The role holder must be conversant with upstream and downstream data flows, understand inter‑system dependencies to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting, meet tight client and product on‑boarding timelines, ensure accurate maintenance of fees and commission schedules, and act as a liaison between operations and front‑office teams for query management. Strong communication skills, agility, responsiveness and meticulous process accuracy are critical.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Execution and verification of the set‑up of new client onboarding data in core and subsidiary systems.
  • Execution and verification of instrument data set‑up and related system configuration globally.
  • Execution and verification of commission and fee set‑up and management for all regions.
  • Understanding and execution of position and transaction reporting requirements of regulators and exchanges, applying these in data set‑up, system configuration and issue resolution.
  • Execution and verification of the maintenance of client post‑trade portals – user enablement, permissions and client information distribution configuration.
  • Execution and verification of the maintenance of risk‑based data such as margin, pricing data and interest.
  • Execution and verification of the general configuration and data mapping to facilitate trade and processing flows in core systems.
  • Ownership and delivery of input to the change‑management programme.
  • Delivering best‑practice and standardised flows to key stakeholders and users of the functions managed within the team.
Qualifications
  • Ability to manage a diverse book of work from multiple stakeholders and locations.
  • Strong controls awareness and ability to raise escalation when required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team, manage multiple requests and prioritise accordingly.
  • Ability to balance RTB responsibilities with involvement infficience toward key strategic, tactical and mandatory initiatives.
  • Industry experience, including ETD and/or OTC product, process and regulatory knowledge.
  • Experience of using any of the industry‑wide vendor‑based systems.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively and proven ability to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and complete assignments on a timely basis.
