Job Summary

The Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating commercial loan applications to determine the creditworthiness of potential borrowers. This role involves conducting thorough reviews of applicants’ credit histories, analyzing financial statements, assessing cash flow, and identifying potential risks. The analyst prepares credit reports and recommendations to support loan approval decisions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with relationship managers and other stakeholders is essential to structure credit solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents to assess borrower capacity and credit risk.
  • Review credit reports and payment histories to evaluate past financial behavior.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit memos with recommendations for approval, modification, or denial of loan requests.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolios for performance and early warning signs of credit deterioration.
  • Ensure all credit analyses comply with internal guidelines and external regulations.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to senior management and credit committees.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit risk.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent English
