A leading technology company in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support and implement process improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. This role involves working with operational teams to identify opportunities for process efficiency and waste reduction. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in English. The position requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and includes rotating shifts.

Formación

  • 3 years of experience in Continuous Process or Manufacturing Engineering Environment.
  • Proven experience in implementing Six Sigma projects.
  • Able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

CommScope is looking to add a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team in Juarez Chih., Mex.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

Supports and promotes the execution and implementation of continuous process improvement projects. Coordinates and supports Orange, Green Belts and Operations personnel of the plant in developing projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Serves as a team facilitator during the development of kaizen events, supporting the evaluation and implementation of best practices. Follow up on the implementation and monitoring of the Continuous Improvement System.

Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in Continuous Process or Manufacturing Engineering Environment.
  • Proficient in English language (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in implementing Six Sigma projects.
  • VSM (Value Stream Mapping)
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma Tools.
  • Experience leading Projects.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PPT).
  • Able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment, proactive.
  • Shift availability (rotating shifts).
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Works with the operations team for identifying opportunities for reducing variation and eliminating waste.
  • Deploys Lean Manufacturing Tools and Best Practices.
  • Serves as a facilitator for the teams during the development of kaizen events, giving support in the evaluation and implementation of best practices.
  • Coordinates follow-up meetings with the project owners to monitor the progress of the initiatives.
  • Provides support to Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, etc to have all the data properly validated prior to obtain Finance approval.
  • Coordinates and supports Orange or green Belts and Operations personnel of the plant in the development of projects using the methodologies of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.
  • Sustain, audit and improves the site Lean Manufacturing system.
  • Generates CPI project presentations and reports.
  • This position / function must be responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment administration system, its Policy, standards and procedures.
