A multinational company in Tijuana is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Sr. Manager to design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in this field, with strong analytical and project management skills. This role includes managing salary structures, overseeing employee benefits programs, and conducting market benchmarking. Proficiency in Excel and excellent communication skills are essential.
GENERAL FUNCTION
This position will manage the Company’s Compensation
and Benefits programs for Operations in Mexico in multiple sites and business units. The Compensation and Benefits Sr. Manager is
responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws, supports talent retention,
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design and manage salary structures, incentive plans and job grading systems.
· Conduct regular market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitiveness.
· Lead the annual compensation review process including merit increases and bonuses.
· Advise HR business partners and leaders on compensation decisions for hires, promotions, and adjustments.
· Prepare reports and analyses for audits, budgeting, and management decisions.
· Maintain and update job descriptions and job evaluations.
· Manage the Employee stock purchase plans.
· Oversee employee benefit programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and paid time off, eyeglasses
· Evaluate and negotiate with benefits providers to ensure cost-effective plans.
· Ensure effective communication of benefit offerings to employees.
· Manage open enrollment processes and vendor relationships.
· Serve as subject matter expert for HRBPs, the business, and employees regarding the Company’s benefits.
· Partnering with the compliance, benefits, payroll and legal teams.
· Expatriate and inpatriate management
· Insurance Policies Administration (Medical, Life and Vehicles)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting or related
8+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benefits regulations, and market analysis tools.
Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
Advanced skill in Excel
