A leading cloud services provider in Veracruz is seeking a skilled professional to improve customer support processes. You will drive initiatives that enhance customer experiences and contribute valuable technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, over 2 years of experience, and a strong knowledge of cloud computing, system networking, and scripting. Excellent communication skills in English are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • You’ll drive initiatives that improve support‑related processes and our customers’ experience.
  • You’ll contribute tutorials, how‑to videos, technical articles, trainings, or similar documentation.
  • You’ll leverage your customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services, and work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.
  • You’ll continuously learn groundbreaking technologies, developing new technical skills and other professional competencies.
  • You’ll act as an interviewer in hiring processes, and coach or mentor new team members.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of related professional and/or military experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or experience with system administration, troubleshooting any operating system (Linux and/or Windows), networking (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, CURL or related).
  • Knowledge or experience with troubleshooting database concepts, database administration (RDBMS, NoSQL, DocumentDB) and data warehousing (high availability, DR, backup, performance tuning, distributed systems).
  • Knowledge or experience troubleshooting Business Intelligence (BI) issues, and with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) (ETL data load ingestion, transformation, migration techniques, BI tools and specific features, performance and latency).
  • Knowledge or experience with distributed search, conceptual search understanding, text parsing analysis, tokenization, databases vs search services, data skew, fault tolerance, etc.
  • Knowledge or experience with data streaming concepts such as producer, consumer, broker, controller/leader Zookeeper, distributed architecture topics, replicas, partitions.
  • Understanding and/or experience with cloud computing and security concepts with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages: UNIX Shell, Python, R, Ruby, Go, Java, NET (C#), JavaScript.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) within technical and business settings.
