A dynamic operations firm is hiring a Chief of Staff to manage company priorities and drive cross-functional projects. This remote position requires someone with at least 2 years in consulting or business operations, strong communication skills in English, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include managing teams, setting KPIs, and ensuring smooth execution of company initiatives. Ideal candidates should possess high ownership and initiative and be comfortable with basic data analysis.

Chief of Staff / Business OperationsChief of Staff / Business Operations Lead (Remote Generalist Operator ex-Consulting preferred)

Location / Schedule

Must have 4 hours overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (ET) with flexibility for key meetings.

Were scaling OpsArmy and building an execution engine that can grow into a broader platform. The CEO needs a high-agency operator who can take messy problems create clarity and drive execution across teamsfast.

This role is designed to be a force multiplier: part strategy part operations part project/program management.

What youll do (core responsibilities)
1) Run the company operating cadence
  • Build and manage weekly priorities KPI tracking and follow-up discipline
  • Keep teams aligned and execution moving without things slipping through cracks
2) Own cross-functional projects end-to-end
  • Lead initiatives across operations recruiting customer success finance and internal tooling
  • Examples: improving hiring funnel onboarding process QA and delivery workflows client retention playbooks margin improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate stakeholders unblock issues and ensure delivery on time
3) Be the CEOs right hand on execution analysis
  • Turn goals into plans (milestones risks dependencies resourcing)
  • Draft clear memos updates and recommendations
  • Bring structure to ambiguous decisions and propose the best path forward
4) Build documentation and scalable processes
  • Create SOPs templates and playbooks so execution becomes repeatable
What success looks like (first 6090 days)
  • Weekly execution rhythm is tight: priorities are clear owners accountable and deadlines met
  • A simple KPI dashboard exists and is used weekly (sales retention delivery hiring)
  • 24 critical workflows are documented and improved measurably
  • CEO time is protected and shifted toward high-leverage work (strategy deals key hires)

Youre a sharp generalist who can think like a consultant and execute like an operator.

Required
  • 2 years in consulting business operations project/program management or ops leadership (or equivalent)
  • Extremely high ownership and initiative (you dont wait to be told)
  • Strong writing and communication in English
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive stakeholders
  • Comfort with basic data analysis (spreadsheets dashboards KPI tracking)
Nice to have
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup or services business
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion Airtable Google Sheets Slack Asana/Jira Zapier/Make
  • Basic understanding of automation/AI workflows (not required but a plus)
Working style
