A leading specialty chemical company is seeking a highly skilled individual for its Sales and Marketing Department in Veracruz, Mexico. The role involves conducting research and development for auxiliary products, requiring a solid understanding of chemistry and customer needs. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in product application at the plant level. This is an on-site position, not open to remote work.

Formación

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in the application of products at the plant level with clients.

  • Capable of obtaining technical information and analyzing customer needs.

DyStar's Sales and Marketing Department in Mexico / Naucalpan Mexico state is seeking an individual to conduct business research and development for appropriate auxiliary products.

The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of terminology and chemistry concepts of surfactants and can obtain technical information / customer needs and their analysis and interpretation in the creation of new products and processes.

Good understanding of spoken and written Spanish and English is necessary for technical information in order to exchange and disclose.

Elaborate and execute the PDM process in order to comply with the company rules regarding Auxiliaries local range Manufacture prototypes to laboratory-level of new developments for internal evaluation.

Test in the DyStar or costumer laboratories, the developed products in order to assure that the performance is the suitable one.

Verify with the client in production the performance of the products to ensure its operation, its correct application and in case it is necessary to make the adjustments that are required.

Develop techniques for the evaluation of own products and to make their comparison of performance against the competition Propose improvements to the existing range to consolidate its position in the market with the correct performance, quality and margin, and updating the standard cost when necessary Coordinate with production and quality control, the production at industrial level of new products to ensure their viability in production and establish the quality parameters of these.

Participate regionally and globally in the development of auxiliaries to improve the current range based on regional market needs in areas of high development potential.

Collaborate with the commercial and supply chain teams to reduce the unhealthy stocks Comply with the current DOA (internal controls) Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, degree or similar career Minimum experience of 5 years in the application of products at the plant level with clients.
