Identify, qualify, and develop net new business opportunities to contribute to the annual quota for the region
Focus on generating a strong pipeline of new opportunities aligned with Genetec's strategic goals. Specifically in the MX Public sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with system integrators, distributors, and key end users in the region
Collaborate closely with tech partners to drive joint initiatives and develop co-branded opportunities
Work with the Commercial team to align BD efforts with broader sales targets, focusing on closing deals and achieving collective revenue goals
Support Marketing by participating in regional campaigns, events, and lead generation activities
Develop and execute business plans for the region, incorporating market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs
Act as a local expert on regional market dynamics and security trends
Ensure cybersecurity solutions are effectively positioned as a core differentiator in all BD activities
Monitor and report on pipeline growth, opportunity conversion rates, and tech partner impact in the region
Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities (Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus
5+ years in Business Development, Sales, or a related role, ideally in the security or technology sector
Experience working with distributors, system integrators, or tech partners in the region
Experience working in public sector projects, TOR's, sales cycles within this particular vertical
Familiarity with Genetec's solutions, VMS, and cybersecurity offerings is a strong advantage
Willingness to travel extensively within Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean, as well as occasionally to LATCAR headquarters
Proven experience in Business Development or Sales, with a focus on technology or security solutions
Strong understanding of pipeline development and sales cycles in Latin America, especially for Public Sector in Mexico
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with partners, end users, and internal teams
Familiarity with cybersecurity trends, products, and their integration into physical security solutions
Ability to analyze market data and use insights to identify opportunities and develop strategic initiatives
Track record of successful collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Tech Partner teams to achieve shared goals
Deep understanding of cultural and business nuances in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean
