A financial services company is seeking a Business Analyst based in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. The candidate will focus on regulatory reporting for US and Canada banking, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include defining product features, collaborating with development teams, and guiding QA processes. Strong experience in banking products and regulatory reporting is essential, alongside proficiency in MS Word and Excel. English fluency is required for effective communication. This is a home office job.

Formación

  • Strong knowledge and practical first-hand experience with regulatory reporting rules.
  • Very good understanding of key banking products like bonds, loans, and derivatives.
  • Knowledge of Adenza (AxiomSL) ControllerView is a plus.

The role requires keen attention to detail and ownership of delivering specifications based on regulatory and operational requirements that meet the needs of our external clients.

The current BA Team is responsible for Business Analysis for US / Canada Bank Template Regulatory Reporting.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Work with our Financial and Statistical teams' Lead Business Analysts to define product features and functional requirements - interpreting local financial regulations - specifically banking for the North Americas US & Canada, and preferably with focus on US FDIC 370
  • Articulating above mentioned regulations and necessary business processes into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Write and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) that breakdown requirements into clear and cohesive business logic and designs (of cubes, dashboards, and other user interactions) which can serve as the business for software development
  • Collaborate with the Application Development (DEV) team to ensure the functional goals of our software are always captured and business user experience is considered
  • Provide guidance on the creation of test scenarios to the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that the full suite of functional as well as non-functional use cases are validated
  • Monitor regulatory updates from the U.S. and Canada Banking / Financial Regulators and industry trends to keep Nasdaq AxiomSL solutions at the forefront of the data management, risk management, and regulatory reporting industries
  • Participate as SME support in sales and pre-sales, as well as providing SME input into marketing initiatives, driving the creation of publications, blogs, content for webinars, and more
We Expect You to Have

Strong knowledge and practical first-hand experience with regulatory reporting rules.

Experience Working in Financial Services, or Related Vendors
  • A very good understanding of key banking products - bonds, loans, guarantees, collateral, repos, derivatives
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Home office job
  • Good spoken and written English
It would be Great if You Had
  • Knowledge of Adenza (AxiomSL) ControllerView
  • Knowledge and / or experience with FDIC 370 Report
