This position reports to

Accounting & Reporting Mgr - Gen. Accounting

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will support account receivables and/or credit activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. You will manage and analyze record-to-report data daily, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards. The work model for this role is: {onsite/hybrid/remote} {insert LinkedIn #}. This role contributes to the {insert product group/business area/division/function} in {insert region}. Main stakeholders include {insert main stakeholder groups}. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to classify and recode financial transactions.
  • Executing quality checks on financial reporting data, including monitoring fluctuations.
  • Ensuring compliance with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR), participating in internal control testing, and preparing relevant documentation.
  • Assisting with data gathering, entry, and basic financial analysis to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.

Qualifications for the role
  • 1–2 years of experience in general accounting, with a focus on fixed assets.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
  • Experience in leasing is an asset.
  • Effective communication skills in English at an intermediate level.
  • Basic Portuguese communication skills are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
