Formación

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar accounting roles.
  • General knowledge of tax concepts, including VAT and income tax.
  • Intermediate English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in software consulting firms, technology companies, or professional services environments is highly desirable.

The Accounting Analyst supports the company's financial operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant accounting processes across multiple accounts and cost centers. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of data quality in invoicing, expense control, and financial records, while supporting month-end close activities, reporting, and financial analysis. The Accounting Analyst works closely with internal stakeholders to promote efficiency, transparency, and consistency in a dynamic software consulting environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Accounting, Administration, or a related field.
  • +2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar accounting roles.
  • General knowledge of tax concepts, including VAT, income tax
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, CONTPAQi, Odoo, or similar).
  • Intermediate English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in a software consulting firm, technology company, or professional services environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Record, review, and validate vendor invoices.
  • Schedule and follow up on payments (bank transfers, checks, SPEI).
  • Manage expense and purchasing budgets.
  • Record and monitor cost and expense accruals.
  • Support internal and external audits and respond to audit requests.
  • Review and validate corporate credit card expenses and supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and accounts.
  • Verify tax compliance of CFDIs and SAT requirements.
  • Support monthly accounting close processes.
  • Prepare profitability reports and month-end closing reports.
  • Provide support to accounts receivable and billing processes.
  • Assist with cost center tracking and financial analysis.
