Role Description

This is a remote contract position for an Account Manager. The position requires managing client relationships by understanding their needs, ensuring successful delivery of services, and maintaining satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing accounts to ensure deliverables meet client expectations, troubleshooting any issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve client goals. Additional duties may involve providing strategic recommendations, reporting on performance metrics, and fostering strong, long-term partnerships.

Client Leadership and Communcation
  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for assigned clients
  • Lead recurring client check-ins, strategy calls, and working sessions
  • Communicate project updates, performance insights, and recommendations clearly and confidently
  • Represent marketing decisions and tradeoffs on client calls
  • Conduct client trainings, onboarding sessions, and enablement meetings as needed
  • Manage day-to-day client communication, including emails, scheduling, follow-ups, and next steps
Delivery Oversight & Internal Alignment
  • Coordinate production across integrated marketing specialties (paid media, SEO, content, creative, web, etc.)
  • Translate client goals and requests into clear, actionable tasks for internal teams
  • Partner with strategists and project managers to ensure accurate scoping, prioritization, and resourcing
  • Review deliverables for alignment with strategy and client expectations before delivery
  • Drive internal communication to ensure teams stay aligned, informed, and unblocked
  • Ensure Monday.com is consistently and accurately updated with client interactions, action items, and status
Reporting, Documentation & Operations
  • Track and summarize key client outcomes, metrics, and insights for reporting and retrospectives
  • Maintain organized client assets, shared documents, and drive folders for internal access
  • Keep clear records of decisions, feedback, and action items to reduce friction and rework
  • Assist with coordinating proposals, scopes, deliverables, and follow-up reminders as needed
Client Success, Retention & Growth
  • Advocate for the client internally and prioritize client satisfaction across deliverables
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, or misalignment before they impact the client experience
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities in partnership with leadership
  • Support client retention by building trust, clarity, and long-term value
Execution Support (As Needed)
  • Provide light, hands-on execution support to maintain momentum and quality
  • Assist with copywriting, QA, platform support or content reviews when appropriate
  • Translate strategy into clear briefs and next steps for specialists
  • Step in to unblock work during tight timelines or team transitions
