• 2-4 years experience in Requirements Engineering or a similar role.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of requirements traceability techniques and methodologies.
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 or ASPICE is a plus.

We are seeking a Requirements Engineer Mid-level:

Role Overview

As a Mid-level Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for the elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation of system requirements for various projects within the automotive domain. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that user needs and regulatory requirements are accurately captured and translated into clear, detailed specifications that guide the development process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Elicitation:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements through interviews, workshops, and collaborative discussions.

2. Requirements Specification:

• Document and specify system requirements effectively using established standards and practices.

3. Requirements Validation:

• Ensure that requirements are verifiable and testable; conduct reviews and validations with stakeholders.

4. Traceability Management:

• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle utilizing appropriate tools.

5. Change Management:

• Manage changes to requirements in a controlled manner, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with design, development, and testing teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.

7. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct impact assessments of requirements changes during the project development lifecycle.

8. Technical Documentation:

• Produce and maintain relevant technical documentation to support project deliverables including requirement specifications, design documents, and test cases.

Qualifications

• University Degree (Bachelor's or Engineering) in related fields: Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience: 2-4 years in Requirements Engineering or a similar role.
• Requirements Elicitation: Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.
• Requirements Management Tools: Familiarity with tools such as IBM DOORS or similar requirements management software.
• Traceability: Knowledge of requirements traceability techniques and methodologies.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Change Management: Understanding of change control processes related to requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Familiarity with testing processes and ensuring requirements are adequately validated.
• Knowledge of Automotive Standards: Familiarity with standards such as ISO 26262 or ASPICE is a plus.
• Effective Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
